Supply & fit to client-supplied chassis:

  • New Steel Water Tank, baffled 22,000 litre capacity
  • Internal Paint Treatment – Tank lined inside with two pack epoxy tank liner
  • External Paint Treatment – outside with two pack automotive finish to match truck colour
  • Site Tube viewable from drivers seated position for tank water level
  • Top fill funnel
  • Highway legal tank level dump valve

Hydraulics:

  • Supply and fit hot-shift PTO and hydraulics to transmission
  • Hydraulic oil tank (200 litres)

Water dispersal system:

  • Hydraulic powered Southern Cross water pump ISO 100 x 65 x 250
  • Dam Fill System through water pump with camlock
  • 5 x Camlock mounted Spray Heads
  • 3 x Fan Sprays and 2 x Batter Sprays
  • Left and right gravity fed drop bars with pneumatic valves
  • Ground level 4” Discharge / Dump valve
  • 15 metre manual rewind Hose Reel with fire nozzle
  • Joystick operated Water Cannon fitted to right hand rear top corner of tank with operation from drivers seated position

From the start working with Frank regarding setting up a different style of service body was more than helpful, and this enabled us to get a truck that meets our requirements. Pricing was good and there were no issues when we made changes when they were requested. The response was excellent, I have made multiple requests to have other things added and modified from learnings here on-site and these were done to a great standard. The delivery was good even due to the Covid restrictions. We were very happy with the result​ and will be recommending Plantman if requested and hopefully dealing with Plantman in the future when we upgrade trucks again. Thank you again for the work put into the truck and body.
