At Plantman Equipment we value the health and wellbeing of our employees, our clients and other stakeholders.
In response to the current level of risk associated with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are putting in place a range of preventive measures to help reduce the spread of the virus, to ensure the health and safety of our employees.
We request that you make your staff aware of the current requirements issued by the Government and Australian Health Authorities, and how they relate to all visitors to Plantman Equipment.
We have established subsequent actions for our organisation to follow:
Upon entering the premises, all employees, visitors & deliveries must maintain high levels of personal hygiene:
· Hand sanitiser must be applied and will be provided upon entering the reception, workshop and all administration areas
· We have directed our Team to avoid shaking hands and limit physical contact with workmates and clients
· We will be working with our cleaners and staff to ensure a higher level of cleanliness, especially across hard contact surfaces
If an employee believes they have been in contact with another who has been infected with the virus, they should self-quarantine until they obtain approval by their healthcare provider.
If an employee has recently travelled internationally, employees must self-quarantine and contact Management on further direction with leave for 14 days. Before returning to the workplace, employees are required to provide a doctor certicate stating that they are free from the COVID-19 virus.
If an employee believes they could be infected, while selfisolation at home, they should immediately contact their healthcare provider. They should not return to the workplace until they receive permission from their healthcare provider.
Please, all visitors may not enter the organisation and must re-schedule any appointments,
• if they have been overseas in the last 14 days
• if they have had contact with anyone testing positive
• if they have any of the following symptoms, fever, cough, or shortness of breath.
Plantman is following the guidance of the World Health Organisation. If your employees have encountered any of the above circumstances or have shown symptoms, they should follow these guidelines.
