Plantman is constantly looking for ways to be involved in the community. Recycling old tyres for a local school to re-use was an easy gesture for our team to facilitate. Nature-based playgrounds are becoming the next big thing with many communities installing them in favour over mass produced steel playgrounds. Schools are also embracing this approach, with the view of creating play environments that allow children to explore and interact in a meaningful way, that can help build their resilience through nature play. Mary’s Mount Primary School, recently upgraded their nature playground, needing various equipment, tools, services and materials to make it happen. The Plantman team was more than happy to step in and donate tyres for the new nature playground. In total six tyres from old earthmoving machines (three large and three small) were painted and installed in the playground. We cannot wait to see the area utilised by the kids of Mary’s Mount Primary to create childhood memories. This is just one of the many ways that Plantman gives back to the community in line with our company values.
